From Our Home to Yours

SheFlair began years ago with a simple love of making a home feel personal—finding and sharing beautiful things, giving old furniture new life, sewing pillows by hand, and adding a little flair along the way.

Over the years, that love of home grew into something more. When we began the nearly three-year journey of designing and building our personal home, I found myself researching countless decisions about color, materials, proportion, function, and the way we wanted our family to live. Along the way, I learned that creating a beautiful home isn't about chasing trends or getting every decision perfect. It's about making thoughtful choices that work together, that reflect the people who live there, and that create a place where everyday life can unfold beautifully.


Today, SheFlair brings three parts of my story together—a lifelong love of creating a beautiful, personal home, a career spent teaching and helping others learn, and the real-world lessons gained while building The Timeless Home. After a lifetime as an educator, teaching is simply part of who I am. This is where I share what I’ve learned—the ideas, decisions, lessons, and practical resources I hope will make creating your own home a little easier. Today, that work also includes custom cabinetry drawings, visualization, and personalized design services for homeowners creating homes of their own.

We wanted to create a home that reflected beauty, encouraged hospitality, and pointed our family—and everyone who entered our doors—to the goodness and faithfulness of Christ.

The Meaning Behind the Oak Sprig

The oak has long symbolized strength, endurance, and steadfast growth. Like the homes we build, an oak tree isn't formed overnight. It grows slowly, season after season, becoming more beautiful with time.
